Jacksonville Legal Community Service Day--February 19
February 19--Local lawyers, law students, law firms, and judges together with their employees, families and friends will volunteer to improve the downtown landscape as part of a greater statewide effort to give back to the community. The statewide service day is known as "Raising the Bar" and is an annual effort by the legal community in Florida to participate in city service initiatives. In Jacksonville, the work will be on the 500 block of West Ashley Street. The event is co-sponsored by the JBA YLS, Florida Bar YLD, Keep Jacksonville Beautiful, Lexis Nexis, the City of Jacksonville, Clean it UP Green it UP, and Florida Coastal School of Law.
